1. Supporing libraries and authors. Asked my public library to purchase the book. Given cuts to libraries, I plan to buy the book for the library. Should advocacy groups promote this as a way to support libraries and highlight threats to our libraries? Especially hard on rural libraries.

2. Work wages and conditions as political issues. On a political note, why haven't Democrats and advocacy groups pushed harder or more visibly to raise minimum wage, worker safety and health protections, job training, etc,? Why hasn't these or 'better' worker issues made it to state and national campaigns?
