Austin is an Iowan and has written an eye opening book about Walmart, Deb and Jeff Hansen - Iowa Select Farms Iowa Falls, German coffee barons who own the majority of coffee producers and retailers, Bonista brothers who control 70 % of beef/pork slaughter worldwide, Fairlife dairy, etc.
J.D., please address how difficult it is (impossible?) to get the attention of Senator Grassley or Senator Ernst. Do they publish a schedule somewhere, like an actual public servant might? A small group of us would like to ask for information and guidance from them about specific situations, like the federal budget cutting funding for Older Americans Act programs. It does us no good to read in a newspaper article that one of them met with selected constituents (example: The Cattlemen’s Association) a week ago.
